Mentor Salt Cave is a Himalayan Salt Cave and retail store specializing in offering 45-minute salt cave sessions, 30-minute ionic salt foot baths, and a retail store with Himalayan salt products, such as edible salt, salt soaps, salt scrubs and salt lamps.  The cave and store are owned by Amy Wojciechowski, with the help from her husband and managing partner, Dave Wojciechowski.    

Himalayan Salt caves

Himalayan Salt caves have been used in various European countries for over 30 years.  Dr. Margaret Smiechowski specializes in the creation of these caves in the United States, after spending many years building them in Europe.  The caves are specially designed to enhance relaxation, while getting the benefits of a wellness environment.  The cave is covered with over 12 thousand pounds of Himalayan Salt with a Halo generator used to break the salt down into fine particles which are pumped through the air.  The cave is kept at 71 degrees for comfort and breathability creating a perfect environment to simulate the essence of the Ukraine salt caves, which have been used for over 30 years to treat people.  The environment creates a hypo-bacterial and allergen free air system, which you will inhale while relaxing in zero-gravity chairs in the salt cave.  Your sinus and respiratory tract will absorb moisture, while cleaning and clearing mucus and killing bacteria.

IONIC foot baths

In addition to Himalayan Salt cave sessions, Mentor Salt Cave will offer Ionic Himalayan Salt foot baths designed to detoxify your system by drawing toxins through your feet into the foot bath water.  The ionic system magnetically draws toxins from vulnerable areas in the body, pulling them through your feet into the water.  The salt water will turn different colors depending on where the toxins are being drawn from.  From personal experience, these 30 minute sessions can help alleviate joint and muscle pain for several days.  Due to the strength of the system and the toxins that are cleaned from your body, it is recommended that you do no more than 1-2 foot bath sessions per week.  The chart below shows the different colors the water can turn, and what part of the body the colors signify:
